Helen sings regularly at the 606 Club and the Pigalle Club in London as a solo artist. As well as headlining at some of the most famous clubs around London for jazz music (Ronnie Scott's, Pizza Express Dean Street) and other music (Café de Paris, Madam Jo Jo's), she is often asked to sing at gala events, most recently the Guardian Book Awards.

She followed Jamie Cullum in winning the "Best New Comer" award at the Marlborough Jazz Festival in 2005.
